He was born in Newport News, Virginia, on April 5, 1977, a son of Terry Shackelford and Judy McEwen. Mark attended Rockville High School in Rockville, Connecticut.
Mark was employed by Allen and Coles Moving of Portland which he really enjoyed, Mark was also willing to help and lend a hand to anyone in need.
Mark was an avid New York Giants football fan. He also enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by: his mother, Judy McEwen of Old Orchard Beach; his step-father, Peter Frazier of Rockville Connecticut; one brother, Todd Shackelford of Saco; two sisters, Kristi Shackelford of Rockville Connecticut and Ashley Shackelford of Glouster Virginia; one niece, Savannah; and four nephews, Jordan, Anthony, Liam, and Jaelon. He is also survived by his long-time partner, Alicia Morris, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Maine and Connecticut.

Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco.
