After his service in World War II as a tank gunner, Danny settled back in Maine working as a textile designer and took up painting in his spare time. He enjoyed watching local high school football games, playing pranks on his wife, and hosting social get togethers; he loved to laugh and make others laugh.
In his retirement, he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and keeping a meticulously leaf-free yard. Danny always had a piece of candy and a joke ready for anyone who came to visit.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Georgette Laliberte Dentico (2001), along with his parents, and siblings: Joseph, Mary, Savario, Virginia, Antoinette and Vito.
He is survived by his daughter, Frances-Marie, and his son-in-law, John Tarbox, along with his granddaughters, Melissa Tarbox, Tiffany Tarbox and Jamie Grindle. He will be missed by many considered him a surrogate grandfather and friend.
