BOSTON — Eric Dungey threw for three touchdowns, Ervin Phillips had a pair of scores and Syracuse beat Boston College 28-20 on Saturday, sending the Eagles to their 12th straight Atlantic Coast Conference loss.
Dungey went 32 for 38 for 434 yards. He also ran 17 times for 54 yards for the Orange (4-4, 2-2).
Last week he became the first player in school history to throw for over 300 yards and rush for over 100 in an upset victory over then-No. 17 Virginia Tech.
Patrick Towles went 4 of 14 for 45 yards for Boston College (3-4, 0-4) but did run 75 yards for a touchdown. He was taken out of the game early in the fourth quarter and appeared to be favoring his right leg.
RICHMOND 35, ELON 7: Kyle Lauletta threw a pair of touchdown passes and visiting Richmond (7-1, 4-1 Colonial Athletic) cruised past Elon (2-5, 1-3).
COLUMBIA 9, DARTMOUTH 7: Oren Milstein kicked three field goals and Columbia (2-4, 1-2 Ivy) beat Dartmouth (3-3, 0-3) at New York.
CENTRAL FLORIDA 24, CONNECTICUT 16: McKenzie Milton threw for a season-high 317 yards and three touchdowns to lead Central Florida (4-3, 2-1 American Athletic) over UConn (3-5, 1-4) at East Hartford, Connecticut.
HARVARD 23. PRINCETON 20: Joe Viviano threw for two early touchdowns and scored on a 1-yard run in overtime to lift visiting Harvard (5-1, 3-0 Ivy) over Princeton (4-2, 2-1).
SOUTH CAROLINA 34, MASSACHUSETTS 28: Freshman Jake Bentley threw for two touchdowns and 201 yards in his first college game, and South Carolina (3-4) matched its victory total from last year by beating Massachusetts (1-7) at Columbia, South Carolina.
STONY BROOK 28, DELAWARE 3: Stacey Bedell ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns, and Stony Brook (5-2, 4-0 Colonial Athletic) outscored Delaware (2-5, 0-4) 21-0 in the second half at Newark, Delaware.
BROWN 28, CORNELL 21: Johnny Pena’s 1-yard touchdown plunge on the second overtime possession lifted Brown (2-4, 1-2 Ivy) over Cornell (3-3, 1-2) at Providence, Rhode Island.
LEHIGH 46, HOLY CROSS 14: Dominick Bragalone ran for 182 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns, and Lehigh (6-2, 3-0 Patriot) pulled away in the second half for a comfortable win over Holy Cross (3-5, 1-2) at Worcester, Massachusetts.
NEW HAMPSHIRE 21, TOWSON 7: Visiting New Hampshire (5-3, 4-1 Colonial Athletic) registered two defensive touchdowns, one off a fumble recovery and the other an interception return, and handled Towson (1-6, 0-4).
VILLANOVA 24, ALBANY 13: Aaron Forbes ran for 151 yards to lead Villanova (6-2, 4-1 Colonial Athletic) past Albany (4-3, 1-3) at Philadelphia.
