ST. PHILIP’S CHURCH is organizing a Baked Bean/Casserole Supper as a fundraiser to benefit its Steeple Fund. As well as three types of beans (vegan, meat lover’s and barbecue), diners can dip into home baked casseroles, regular hot dogs, vegan hot dogs, salad, corn bread, biscuits, desserts and choice of beverage. The church is asking for help to fulfill its half of a matching grant from the Maine Community Foundation. Dinner is served on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 5-6 p.m. at 12 Hodge St.,Wiscasset.
