Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling is launching a series of neighborhood office hours aimed at making city government more accessible.

The first “Strimling on the Street” will take place Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Aurora Provisions, 64 Pine St.

He will be at the Hilltop Superette, 135 Congress St., 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday; Tony’s Donuts, 9 Bolton St., 8:30-10 a.m. on Sunday; Shaws Supermarket – Northgate, 91 Auburn St., 4:30-6 p.m. on Sept. 26; Aubuchon Hardware, 832 Stevens Ave., 10-11:30 a.m., on Oct. 2; and Becky’s Diner, 390 Commercial St., 6-7:30 a.m., on Oct. 7.

Other dates include: Holy Donut, 194 Park Ave., 8-9:30 a.m. Oct. 15; Lowe’s, 1058 Brighton Ave., 10-11:30 a.m. Oct. 16; and Anania’s Variety Store, 606 Washington Ave., 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 20.
