Oh, my goodness. The Democratic National Committee’s emails were hacked and they didn’t like Bernie Sanders. Oh, dear. Ted Cruz told the Republican National Convention that people should vote their conscience. These are examples of the gigantic political scandals that headline the news wherever one looks.

These are scandals? There are lots of real scandals that politicians, at all levels, should be addressing rather than wringing their hands about this kind of nonsense. For one example, one quarter of the kids in Maine are food insecure. Now that is a scandal.
