Letter to the editor: Credit Cruz for displaying conviction and conscience

I’m a Democrat, through and through. I do, however, recognize courage and conviction when I see it; I applaud Ted Cruz for speaking out at the Republican National Convention and refusing to support one of the most unqualified presidential candidates his party has ever endorsed.
