WELLS — Five staff members from the Wells-Ogunquit Community School District retired at the end of this school year. In addition, one staff member has reached the 20-year milestone in service to the district.

All six were honored in a “Celebration of Service to Education” ceremony on June 17 at the end of a staff luncheon at Wells Junior High School.

At the ceremony, WOCSD Superintendent Jim Daly, two of the district’s three school principals, Marianne Horne of Wells Elementary School and Eileen Sheehy of Wells High School, plus others, recognized the following individuals with comments and gift bags.

After 33 years, Sue Brown is retiring, so is Pat Cilley after 14 year Nancy Garrick after three years, Marianne Horne after 16 years and Bob McCormick after 12 years. Andy Lopez was recognized for his 20 years of service to the district.
