SANFORD — Elizabeth Ackroyd Simonds, 92, lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away on June 19 with her daughter by her side.

She lived a full life as she always said, that included lots of traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a brother, two children, 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
