Rachel Talbot Ross won a close three-way Democratic primary race Tuesday to represent House District 40 in Portland.

With 198 votes, she beat Herbert Adams, who received 171 votes and Anna Kellar with 156 votes.

Talbot Ross will face Republican Carol Taylor and Green Independent Russell Hoskins in the November election.
