Today, I fired the Republican Party. I went to my town office and un-enrolled from the party. The mass media (especially Fox News Channel) made the “Republican” Donald Trump. Perhaps the ratings and profit will outweigh regret and guilty conscience when they realize the damage to a party and nation they have wrought.
No matter who wins in November, the Republican Party is so damaged it could lead to years of liberal rule and a radical Supreme Court. So many have been fooled or willingly misled by this colluding machine.
Instead of demonstrating how modern capitalism has made a powerful, wealthy and generous nation, crony capitalism will now highlight the ugly side of business and pave the way for socialism and, ultimately, tyranny.
But one day, like a phoenix, conservatives will once again rise and resume their role of defending the Constitution and the freedoms and individual liberties it gifted Americans. Until then, RIP, conservatism.
