I’m supporting Rep. Justin Chenette for state senator in the June 14 Democratic primary.
Why? I received a flier in the mail from Justin’s opponent, Barry Hobbins, showing the time he has spent in office. The mailer shows he began as a legislator 44 years ago in 1972, flipping between the House and the Senate multiple times.
I appreciate those who serve, but there comes a time when we need some new energy and a new approach.
Justin embodies the essence of volunteerism and public service. I always see him getting involved in charitable and community activities. He doesn’t just show up during election season, he’s there year-round, making a real difference.
Justin has been a state representative for four years. If he loses, we will have lost a true advocate and a rising star in the Democratic Party. Support Justin Chenette for Senate on June 14.
