The bottom line in losing the Portland Pirates is that the team was not supported enough by the fan base.

I find it absurd that Cross Insurance Arena trustee Chairman Mitchell Berkowitz said that the trustees did not know how much revenue the Pirates were producing.

I don’t know of any business run this way. Maybe it’s time for new trustees.
