A Gardiner man is facing felony drug charges after police found crack cocaine and prescription drugs inside a “body cavity,” according to York police.

Jason Vitale, 37, and Courtney Quinn, 33, both of Gardiner, were arrested in York early Tuesday morning after they were found with crack cocaine and prescription drugs, police said Wednesday. The pair drew the attention of police when they were found in a car with a shredded front tire parked behind Mr. Mike’s Mobile Station.

Vitale was arrested for possession of crack cocaine, oxycodone and alprazolam. He also had an active warrant for failure to appear in court. Quinn was arrested for possessing crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Vitale and Quinn were taken to York County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail, additional crack cocaine and prescription pills were located inside Vitale’s “body cavity area,” police said. His charges were upgraded to felony level as a result, police said.
