I could not believe the comment (a woman) posted in the Voice of the People on May 11, regarding Veto and (suggesting that) the LePages would make a better home for this dog than the lady that this dog would (have) helped as a therapy dog. This lady was supposed to get this dog and then just because the governor showed up at the animal refuge they gave it to him. How shameful is this?
The governor should have brought this dog to this lady but, instead, he makes a big deal in the paper and oh how wonderful.
Shame on the lady that wrote to your Voice of the People praising the governor! Where is all the honesty for Maine people and where is the caring by the governor? There is none.
I am so ashamed he did this!
