
She was born in Sanford on June 11, 1933, the daughter of Ovila and Eva Rouleau Bougie, and educated in Sanford schools.
On Sept. 14, 1953, she married Raymond A. Goudreau in Holy Family Church in Sanford. Mr. Goudreau died November 8, 1996.
Mrs. Goudreau worked for five years with Kesslen Shoe Shop in Kennebunk, for more than 25 years with Pepperell & West Point Pepperell in Biddeford, and for many years as a food preparer for Donovan & Donovan in Biddeford and Saco.
She also worked for many years as a caterer along with her husband in the local area a Ray’s Lunch and later as Paul & Ray’s Caterers.
She was preceded in death by five brothers.
She is survived by: four daughters, Irene Zook and husband Joseph, Elaine Cantara and husband Roger, Linda Parent and husband Ray, all of Biddeford, and Diane Leblanc and companion Richard Hale of Saco; one brother, Roger Bougie and wife Mary Jane of Alfred; three sisters, Rita Grondin and husband Raymond of Sanford, Lorraine Grondin and husband Ronald of Machias, and Simonne Allen and husband Paul of Portland; eight grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 4- 7 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 13, at St. Margaret’s Church in Old Orchard Beach. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
