BIDDEFORD — Laurianne Grenier, 97, of Biddeford, died Saturday, May 30, 2016, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

She was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Biddeford, the daughter of Aime and Regina (Bouthillette) Beliveau, and was educated locally.

On Nov. 8, 1941, she married Emile Grenier at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.

Laurianne had been employed locally at Landry’s Laundry, Delorge’s Bakery and Precision Screw for several years, and also co-owned and operated Taylor Street Market, retiring in 1983.

She enjoyed working in her yard, blueberry picking and, most of all, spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Emile Grenier, in 1972; a son, Clermont, in 1969; and a brother, Willian Beliveau; in 2012.

She is survived by: one son, Bernard Grenier and his wife Mary of Rockville, Maryland; one daughter, Carol Grenier of Biddeford; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Grenier of Olney, Maryland; three grandchildren, Susan Weisman and her husband Daniel, Julie Sharafinski and her husband Ralph, and Steve Grenier and his wife Guang, all of Maryland; 12 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Raymond Beliveau of Biddeford; and several other nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
