I think that all municipalities in Maine should be banned from enacting any further bans without a public vote.

Although our elected representatives may think these are good ideas, and some of them may be, I look at them as further examples of government intrusion into our daily lives. Many of these probably are used to advance the personal views of our elected officials.

We would all be better served if the people sitting on these various councils and boards worried about lowering our ever-growing tax burden or, heaven forbid, fixing our roads.
