Civil War lecture at library
The next Joshua L. Chamberlain Civil War Round Table lecture will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in Curtis Memorial Library’s Morrell Room at 23 Pleasant St.
Speaker Pat Falci will speak on “Lee’s Forgotten General: A.P. Hill at the Battle of Gettysburg.”
Lectures are free and open to the public; donations are greatly appreciated.

Talk on tick-borne diseases
Paula Jackson Jones and Angele Rice will discuss how to avoid tick-borne diseases during seasonable months from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the Camden Public Library.
The two co-founders of Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education will be joined by Alison Kelsey-Bryant to share their personal journeys of Lyme and tick-borne disease, promoting prevention and education and providing local resources and community support.
