A car was knocked over on its side in a three-car collision in the Scarborough Gallery shopping center Friday evening.
According to Scarborough police, Shirley Brooks, 81, of Gorham was trying to cross from the Wal-Mart store to Marden’s about 6 p.m. when her car was hit by another vehicle, driven by Christa Yates, 39, of Portland.
Brooks’ car was knocked on its side and hit another car, driven by Christy Lockhart, 61, of Portland.
Scarborough police Sgt. Thomas Chard said Brooks was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland for treatment of minor injuries.
No charges were filed, Chard said.
Traffic was tied up for a couple of hours Friday night, Chard said, because police closed Spring Street to remove the cars involved in the crash.
