Several local residents will be featured when the Maine State Ballet presents “Sleeping Beauty” in April. The show opens at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 1, and runs through Sunday, April 17, at 2 p.m.

Local students dancing in the show are Faith Buckley and Lily MacKenzie from Cape Elizabeth; Nicholas Anderson, Elizabeth Dragoni, Laura Moskevich and Trevor Seymour from Scarborough; and Frederick Bernier, Brooke Sowerby and Zsuzsa Williams from South Portland.

Tickets are $19-$25 and are available online at www.mainestateballet.org or by calling the box office at 781-3587. Discounts are available for seniors and children and there is a $5 processing fee for both phone and box office orders, but no fee for online purchases.
