Deering/Portland Unified team eliminated

The fairy tale postseason run of the first-year Deering/Portland Unified basketball team came to a close last week in the regional final. After beating Brunswick, Yarmouth and Westbrook to get to the South Region Final, Deering/Portland met its match in powerhouse Lisbon last Tuesday, falling, 44-24, to finish the year 7-5.
