DOVER-FOXCROFT — A Maine man whose wife operated a day care center has pleaded no contest to charges he bribed children with candy to get them to expose themselves.
WCSH-TV reports 69-year-old David Russell of Parkman entered the plea on Monday to seven counts of visual sexual aggression against a child.
Prosecutors say children who attended Just Us Kids day care center in Parkman told their parents about the incidents.
Prosecutors say they happened at the day care center between last June and October. Most of the children are between the ages of 4 and 12. One is between 12 and 14.
The day care center closed in October.
The Piscataquis County District Attorney’s Office says the case has been continued for sentencing. A date hasn’t been set.
