Rosemary Reid of Portland, a representative of Modern Woodmen of America, was named to Modern Woodmen’s President’s Cabinet.
Reid was recognized for her high achievement in life insurance sales and ranking among the organization’s top representatives nationwide.
Harriman and The Cecil Group announced that two staff members recently earned professional certification and accreditation.
Jeffrey LaPierre received the Certified Energy Manager credential from the Association of Energy Engineers.
Kathryn Wise has passed the Architecture Registration Examination and is now a licensed architect.
UPS driver Ted Kalicky of Gorham was recently inducted into its Circle of Honor for achieving 25 years of accident-free driving.
Kalicky and six other elite drivers from Maine are among 1,613 newly inducted into the company’s honorary organization.
Maine has 42 active Circle of Honor drivers with a combined 1,142 years of accident-free driving.
Aaron Fitzgerald, manager of McDonald’s in Topsham, was selected to receive the 2016 Ray Kroc Award, which recognizes the top 1 percent of McDonald’s restaurant managers from around the world. The honor comes with a cash prize and a trophy.
Fitzgerald has been working for McDonald’s for nearly 10 years. He began his career in 2006 as a crew person at the Lisbon restaurant and was promoted to manager in 2008.
Lee Jackson was recognized as the McDonald’s Crew Person of the Year.
Jackson was one of only 25 McDonald’s employees nationwide to receive the award.
Kirby Littlefield, a longtime employee of Maine Water, was presented with the Sid Anthony Award of Merit from the Maine Water Utilities Association.
Littlefield was hired as a plant operator in May 1966 in the water treatment plant in Biddeford. He is now completing his 50th year in that role.
Sophia Rosendo, a Portland auction professional, recently received her designation as an Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate from the National Auctioneers Association’s Education Institute. Rosendo, of Cape Elizabeth, is an auction professional with Tranzon Auction Properties.
Scott Simons was named to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
Simons is one of three Fellows in Maine and the seventh in the state’s history to receive this honor. He has practiced architecture for over 30 years.
Anna Moorman, of Allen Insurance and Financial, recently received an award from Martin’s Point Generations Advantage as one of their top 10 performing producers in Medicare sales for Maine.
Moorman has been with Allen Insurance since 2012. She assists people who are aging into the Medicare system.
Scott Edwards, an employee of Poland Spring, was named one of four employees to receive the Nestlé Waters North America President’s Award in January.
Edwards was recognized for his commitment to the community and dedication to Poland Spring. He lives in Harrison and has worked for Poland Spring for 22 years.
Shane Perry recently received the Accreditation in Public Relations designation, joining only about 5,000 skilled public relations professionals worldwide.
Baker Newman Noyes was recently ranked in Accounting Today’s list of the top 100 firms in the country.
The annual list ranks CPA firms by revenue. The firm received high marks for its growth of 30 percent in 2015, allowing it to enter at 96 and rank fourth in the New England region. Overall growth for the top 100 came in at 9.32 percent.
The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors recently recognized Gene McKeever of Allen Insurance and Financial in Camden with a certificate honoring his 35 years of committed professional leadership and advanced knowledge.
Donna Millett Ewert, a financial adviser at Robinson Smith Wealth Advisors in Portland, was accepted for membership in the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
With membership, Millett Ewert is affiliated with an organization of more than 2,400 qualified financial advisers in the nation.
