
She was born Dec. 11, 1928, in Biddeford to Zephirin and Helene (Piette) Camire, and was educated in Biddeford schools.
On June 6, 1949, Yvonne married Paulydore “Paul” Perron in St. Joseph’s church.
She had worked at Bruce Shoe as an inspector, and also Westland Shoe.
A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed bowling, gardening and spending time with her granddaughters. Time with family at her Bunganut Lake camp was important to her.
She was preceded in death by: Paul, her husband of 53 years, on Sept. 13, 2002; her son-in-law, Donald Cantara, on May 2, 2015; two sisters, Theresa Furnace and Irene Demeule; three brothers, Osias, Willie and George Camire; and several nieces and nephews.
Yvonne is survived by: her daughter, Diane Cantara of Biddeford; two granddaughters, Jennifer Cantara and her partner Robert Berwick of Saco, and Hillary Cantara of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. Graveside service will be noon Wednesday, March 23, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. To share condolences online, please visit HopeMemorial.com.
