Maine Red Claws forward Coty Clarke has been signed to a 10-day contract by the Boston Celtics, the Celtics announced Monday.
Clarke, a 6-foot-7 forward, was Maine’s leading scorer and rebounder among players who have been with the team all season, averaging 16.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in 39 games.
Clarke was originally signed by the Celtics last September but was waived after appearing in one preseason game.
• Maine guard Tim Frazier was chosen as D-League Player of the Week after averaging 14 points, 10.7 rebounds and 9.3 assists in three Red Claws wins.

JUNIOR NATIONALS: Kaelyn Woods of Gray-New Gloucester High School finished 11th overall and fourth in her age group in the 5-kilometer classical race on the opening day of the U.S. junior national championships in Cable, Wisconsin.
Woods, a six-time high school state champion, finished in 18 minutes, 18.4 seconds. Leah Brams of Belmont, Massachusetts, won with a time of 17:13.
