Carly Rogers, a member of the Scarborough High School class of 2012 and now a senior at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, recently surpassed 1,000 points in her college basketball career when she was fouled and converted the three-point play with 3:24 left in the first quarter of a game in mid-February against Endicott College. She played varsity at Scarborough High School as a sophomore, the year the Storm won the Class A state title. She is studying interior design and is set to graduate in August. Her parents are Molly McGuire of Scarborough and Larry Rogers of Yarmouth.
