Sen. Rebecca Millett, of Cape Elizabeth, welcomed four students from the Taktse International School in India to the State House in Augusta on Feb. 4. The students are visiting Cape Elizabeth schools as part of a five-week homestay program. Students Dawa Penjor, Pema Dolkar, Sherap Palmu and Pemma Karzyi Lhazin, Dean of Students Malisha Chhetri and Alina Perez of Cape Elizabeth schools spent the day in the Legislature visiting Millett and observing a Senate session, a Senate Democratic caucus, and a public hearing in the House and Human Services Committee.
