ERIE, Pa. — Levi Randolph scored seven of his team-high 23 points during a 19-6 run to close the game Friday night as the Maine Red Claws pulled away for a 102-90 victory against the Erie Bayhawks in a D-League game at Erie Insurance Arena.
The Red Claws (14-12) made 18 of 40 3-pointers, led by Omari Johnson, who scored 21 points on seven 3-pointers.
Coty Clarke added 18 points, and Andre Stringer finished with 14 points and seven assists for the Red Claws, who led 58-46 at halftime.
Erie (9-17) outscored Maine 25-16 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to three going into the fourth.
The Bayhawks were led by Adreian Payne, who scored a game-high 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Before the game it was announced that Jordan Mickey of the Red Claws was selected to play in the NBA D-League All-Star game Feb. 13 in Toronto as part of the NBA’s All-Star weekend.
Mickey is averaging 17.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and a league-best 4.6 blocks in 21 games this season.
