Gray Ghost Fly Tying, 6:30 p.m. in Yarmouth
Join the Gray Ghost Fly Tying group, led by guest fly fisherman Louis Lortie from Quebec. Lortie will teach how to shape the Dusty Miller fly and a Sunray Shadow streamer. Full Moon Hike, 5 p.m. in Jefferson
Hidden Valley Nature Center is leading a full moon hike from 5 to 7 p.m. Bring snowshoes and a snack. Meet at the main gate by 5 p.m. The group will listen for calling owls and howling coyotes. Birding in Texas, 7 p.m. Feb. 23, in Brunswick
Join Merrymeeting Audubon for a program about birding along the upper Texas coast. Texas boasts barrier islands, coastal marshes, prairies and southern pine forests, as well as nearly 500 bird species. The presentation will take you on a photographic journey of this area.
