Robert N. Barnes, a funeral director at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home in Portland for over 40 years, was recertified with the designation of Certified Funeral Service Practitioner by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.

Barnes, vice president of the funeral home, has been a member in good standing with the academy, and has been honored for his dedication to continuing education for over 37 years.
