Governor Paul LePage will hold his first town hall of the new year Wednesday in Bridgton, where he will deliver remarks about moving Maine forward and answer questions from residents.

The talk will take place at the Bridgton Town Office, 8 Iredale St., from 6-7 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.

According to LePage’s press secretary Adrienne Bennett, the town hall meeting will focus on the governor’s vision for Maine, including further reducing the income tax; reforming welfare by strengthening the state’s safety net for the most vulnerable; cutting energy costs; and addressing Maine’s high student debt burden.

LePage has held town halls during the last three months in Farmington, Auburn, Rockland, Portland and Waterville.
