RICHMOND, Virginia — Leonard G. Sayer, 83, of Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Newton, North Carolina, passed away Nov. 16, 2015.

He was the widower of Blanche B. Sayer, and is survived by: his daughter, Cheryl S. Barker; granddaughter, Jessica Ann Bufford and her husband Joshua; grandson, Justin A. Fulbright; great-grandson, Nash Bufford; and brother, Maurice Sayer.

Mr. Sayer was a former member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Newton, North Carolina. He was employed by General Electric for 35 years and was the former owner of Lemstone Books.
