I would like to express my deep appreciation to all the Saco residents who supported my effort to be mayor with their vote. I lost the race, however during the campaign I had the great opportunity to talk with citizens about issues concerning the property tax rate, K–12 education and City Council decisions. Please know that I plan to remain involved in helping to strengthen our community by continuing as an active member of Saco Citizens for Sensible Government and also remaining on the board of the Saco Main Street organization.
The election may be over, but your ability to hold our city officials accountable is always available. Get involved, become educated on the issues that matter to you and communicate your thoughts respectfully.
