He had suffered in pain for many years and ultimately lost his battle to stay clean and sober. Those of us who were closest to him were able to enjoy his company while he was clean and sober.
Shane loved many and was loved by many. He had the aura of a kind, generous, caring man. If you were lucky enough to have shared time with him, you were indeed blessed to do so.
Shane enjoyed many things in life: disc golf, dirt biking, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming and in general hanging out with his friends and family.
Shane shared a deep love with his mom Trina, dad, Michael, and brothers, Michael, Tyler and Matthew. He loved his children, Lillian Angel Goss and Kaiden Jace Mills, deeply as well. He was at his best when interacting with and tending to them.
Shane’s memorial service will be held at Hope Memorial Chapel at 480 Elm St. in Biddeford. All are welcome to attend memorial visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7. A prayer service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Shane once said, “People die so that others can live!” He has gone to reside with the Lord. Blessed be he.
In lieu of flowers, if friends and family wish, they can donate to the Shriners Hospital at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org.
