ARUNDEL — Judith A. Kline, 74, of Arundel died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a long illness.

She was born May 23, 1941, in Winchester, Connecticut, a daughter of Richard Horace and Hazel Anna (Hotchkiss) Kline Sr. Judith was educated in Connecticut, graduating from Northwestern Regional High School in Barkhamstead and earning her associate’s degree at Northwestern Connecticut Community College. She had also attended Southern Connecticut State University.

Judith served her country in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1970. She was later employed with Waring Products in New Hartford, Connecticut until her disability in the late eighties.

Judith moved to Maine, where she was a member of the American Legion, Post 74 in Kennebunk. Judith was also an active member of the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport. She had a great fondness for animals.

Judith is survived by a brother and a sister. She will be sorely missed by Paul, Polly and Peter Pobuda, her extended family.

Visiting hours will be 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Oct. 29 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will follow at noon in the chapel with Rev. James King officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.

Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
