I would like to thank the people of Poland Springs for donating 12 cases of water to the Old Orchard Beach Marching Band for the home show on Oct. 3 at the high school. The show featured competitive marching bands from all over Maine and thanks to Poland Springs generous donation, no one went thirsty. On behalf of the band and the wonderful parent volunteers who have been behind the scenes orchestrating the specifics of the event, I would also like to thank the following: The Ball Park Commission for allowing us to use the Ball Park parking lot and lights. The Department of Public Works for Handi-Cap parking, The Old Orchard Beach Police Department for using the police trailer to advertise the show, and Lieutenant Timothy DeLuca. Without his help, none of these things would have been possible.
