She was born in Biddeford on Oct. 16, 1942, a daughter of the late Lewis and Doris (Sanborn) Curtis.
Stephanie was a good mother and a proud, loving grandmother. She loved spending her time with family and friends. She always had a helping hand, open door and kind words for everyone. She enjoyed looking out over the ocean.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, John Eaton of Sanford, Donna Blouin of Lyman, Muriel Basile of Sanford, and Acel Palmer of Sanford; one sister, Pamela Curtis of Kennebunk; 14 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Thursday, Oct. 8 from 2-4 p.m. at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale.
