Two leaders of the Westbrook/Gorham Community Chamber have stepped down.

Dennis Dalton, the president, and James Tranchemontange, the vice president, announced this week they are leaving the board.

Dalton was president for less than a year, following the exit of Andrew Cook.

Tranchemontange said Wednesday that he had “philosophical” differences with the chamber, but that he’ll still be helping out with community events, as well as continuing to run the Maine Market in Riverbank Park.

Dalton did not return a call for comment by the American Journal’s deadline Wednesday.

The chamber will vote in October to replace both leadership positions. Darryl Wright, a former chamber president, has stepped in as interim president.
