Saco Food Pantry says ‘thanks’

As those in need enter the doors they find some of our dedicated volunteers waiting to help them walk that extra mile. To help them in their noble cause the extended hands of others are there willingly helping to see there is enough for all.

Those extended hands of help each have names like: Alice Finnegan, joseph and Doris Buonomo, Marion Orr, Susan Zayac, Donald and Patricia Letellier, Roger and Mary Ann Martin, John and Sheri Morrison, Jr., Lloyd and Susan Hunt, Lawrence and Carol Patterson, Diane Brunelle, Normand and Joanne Souliere, David and Luce Loper, D. Johnson, Rita Shaw, Ron and Hilda Michaud, Paul and Jeanne Callahan, Mary Brown, Frank and Maureen Bronncely, Raymond and Jeanne Dolon, Grace lashua, Ron and Patty Harwood, Ron and Rachel Bolduc, Grace Agayoff, Karin Olson, Andre and Joan Poisson, John and Jacqueline Simard, Al and Bernadette Coulombe, Judith St. Germain and Family and Judith Walsh Pinette.

We thank all at our houses of Worship: Trinity Episcopal, First Parish and North Saco Congregational, Unitarian Universalist of Saco and Biddeford, Cornerstone Methodist, Bible and United Baptist, Most Holy Trinity, St. Demetrious, St. Augustine and Hope Churches.

We thank all businesses like Leeward Landing Thrift Store, Southworth International Group, Sure Winner Foods, Shaw’s Saco, Saco Hannaford, Hair Works, and Fernleaf Bakery. We also thank those who donate the fruits of their labor, the people of the Community Gardens, the Fenderson, Leary farms, the Home Gardeners and this Newspaper.

We also remember and honor those who have past Vivian Mondor and Frank Donahue.

We, by this letter, recognize all who by the concern shown for the 532 in need that they have helped traveled that extra mile. To all those mentioned, those who remain anonymous standing in the shadows and on behalf of the over 50 volunteers acting in your stead, thank you. May all and your families find good health, sunshine and God’s blessings.
