TOGETHER THE LET’S GO! TEAM and the Bath Area Family YMCA are working to support healthy behaviors in the places where children learn, play and grow. Let’s Go! is a nationally recognized childhood obesity prevention program implemented throughout Maine and in a few communities in neighboring states. Let’s Go! partners with schools, child care and out-of-school programs, healthcare practices and community organizations to change environments where children and families live, learn, work and play. Bath Area Family YMCA Childcare Programs has implemented Let’s Go!’s strategies that support healthy eating and active living, and has been recognized at Let’s Go!’s Gold-level for their success.
