Portland police said a bicyclist who drove through a stop sign was injured when he was struck by a pickup truck Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Anderson and Oxford streets.
Lt. Robert Ridge said the bicyclist, Robert Wing, was not seriously hurt. Ridge said the investigating officer said Wing failed to stop for a stop sign.
An ambulance from South Portland responded with Portland firefighters because Portland ambulances already were responding to another crash. Ridge was not sure if Wing was hospitalized.
The incident happened just after 3:30 p.m.
