Oxford County Sheriff’s deputies say speed and alcohol contributed to a crash that killed a New Hampshire woman in Waterford on Wednesday night.

Deputies responded to Harts Corner Road near Papoose Pond Campground, where they discovered the driver of the car, Diane Stiles, 55, was dead.

Initial reports to the Oxford County Regional Communications Center said there were two people in the car but a search of the area using thermal imaging devices turned up no other victims, said Chief Deputy Hart Daley.
