Spencer Coll, 24, a retail associate at Free Range Fish & Lobster in Portland, came from Roswell, New Mexico, to work in the Maine seafood industry for the summer. “It’s been a great job. I like helping people that come in,” Coll said. “Seeing them happy is great.” He also likes “learning about and trying the fish.” But there’s one fish market task that isn’t so great. “The hardest part of the job is having to clean the lobster tanks,” Coll said.
