BIDDEFORD — Gisele P. Cote, 82, of Biddeford, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Seal Rock Healthcare in Saco.

She was born May 25, 1933 in Drum-mondville, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of Arthur and Beatrice (Joyal) Pivin. She was educated there and in Biddeford schools.

On July 19, 1952, she married Clement E. Cote at St. Frederic Church in Drummondville. They moved to Biddeford in 1954 and she became a U.S. citizen.

Gisele had been employed for 10 years with Pepperell Mfg. Company, 13 years at Allied Shoe, and had retired from Southern Maine Medical Center in 1997 after 11 years there.

She enjoyed bowling, dancing, horseshoes, and card playing.

Gisele is preceded in death by: her husband, Clement, on Feb. 15 of this year; she was also preceded in death by a brother, Roland Pivin; and two sisters, Gilberte Martel, and Jeannine Fontaine.

She is survived by: a son, Renald R. Cote of Biddeford; a daughter, Nancy Kespert of Old Orchard Beach; a brother, Marcel Pivin of Drummondville, Quebec; two sisters, Marie-Paule Lamb of West Hollywood, Florida, and Hugette Croteau of Old Orchard Beach; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces, and nephews and cousins in both the U.S. and Canada

There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 25 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
