ARUNDEL — Clermont Y. Fecteau, 54, of Arundel, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at his home after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Lac Baker, New Brunswick, Canada on July 30, 1960, the son of Leandre and Armande Sylvain Fecteau. He was educated in Saco and Old Orchard Beach schools. He received an Associates degree in culinary arts from York County Community College in Wells.

Clermont worked many years for Hutchins Trucking Co. in Scarborough. He also worked as a chef with Federal Jack’s in Kennebunkport.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond

Fecteau in 2011.

He is survived by: his mother, Armande Fecteau of Biddeford; five brothers, Jean Luc Fecteau and his wife Diane of Biddeford, Bertrand Fecteau of Biddeford, Lucien Fecteau and his wife Celeste of Biddeford, Rheo Fecteau and his wife Lise of Saco, and Gilles Fecteau and his wife Lorrie of Acton; a sister, Muriel Belanger and her husband Terry of Biddeford; a sister-in-law, Roxanne Fecteau of Biddeford; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 25 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford.
