The couple were married on June 19, 1945.
A celebration hosted by their children and spouses was held on Sunday, June 14. The party was attended by members of the family, including many of their grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
A party was also given on Friday, June 19 in West Point. This party was organized and attended by friends and neighbors.
