WOOLWICH

Woolwich Historical Society is hosting a summer concert series in the historic Nequasset Meetinghouse on Wednesday evenings in July. The concerts feature local musicians, highlighting a variety of talent.

Long-time Woolwich performers Sharon Pyne and Doug Protsik opened the series on Wednesday, July 8. The “Montsweagers” performed Wednesday, July 15.

Contemporary musician Max Ater will play July 22. Stage Wright performs a mix of modern folk and bluegrass tunes. All three are former teachers at the Hyde School in Bath, and have been playing music together in mostly informal settings for twenty years.

All concerts are free and held at the Nequasset Meetinghouse on Nequasset Road (opposite the Woolwich Town Office at 13 Nequasset Road) at 7 p.m. Free refreshments. For more information, contact Allison Hepler at (207) 442-0754.
