Major: Journalism and biology.Clubs and Activities: Cross country, indoor and outdoor track, competitive dance team, Interact Club, Spanish Honor Society – taught 1st grade students Spanish through Aguilitos, a Spanish Honor Society organization, National Honor Society, Reducing Sexism and Violence Program reading instructor for Teen Trendsetters, a group where each week she mentored a first-grade student who was struggling with their reading ability, and Prom Committee.  Awards: Wellesley College Book Award, AP Scholar Award, and Scholar-Athlete Award each season, High Honor Roll each year.Future plans: Elon University. Major: Marketing and Strategic Communications. She hopes to someday have her own advertising firm that advocates for animal rights.Clubs and Activities: Cross Country (four years) team captain senior year, Science Olympiad (three years) with three medals won at the state level, Chemistry Olympiad (three years) and Science Bowl (three years) serving as a captain during senior year. Member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Math team and Outing club. Participated in the inaugural year of the Robotics team which finished 17th in their first tournament. Awarded the Phi Beta Kappa Book Award and recognized as an AP Scholar in junior year and as SMAA All Academic as a senior. Outside of school, he enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ).Future plans: Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. Major: International relations/pre-law with a minor in Spanish. Accepted as a Bonner Scholar in Stetson’s Bonner Program, which is both a volunteer service and leadership program. Aiyanna plans to study abroad after getting bachelor’s degree as well as go to law school to be an immigration lawyer.Clubs and Activities: National Honor Society (three years), Spanish Honor Society (four years), Science Olympiad (two years), Science Bowl (one year), Swim Team (four years), worked as a lifeguard for three years.Awards: New England champion in swimming for the 500 freestyle, two school records for swimming. In Science Olympiad, second place at thermodynamics as a sophomore, first place in chemistry as a junior, second place chemistry as a senior, experimental design and first in cell biology. Placed sixth in Chemistry Olympiad as a junior and second place as a senior.  Future plans: Ransselaer Polytechnic Institute. Major: Chemical engineering.
