A brief thank you to all who made our project for Day of Caring a huge success:
Ӣ Jason Ketterick of United Way of York County for organizing and facilitating our project.
Ӣ Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and their wonderful volunteers for their time, talent and hard work constructing a three rail wooden fence.
Ӣ Home Depot and Manager Brandon Hard for their donation Quikrete to secure all posts firmly in the ground.
Ӣ Our own faithful and dedicated volunteers who assisted in the success of this project.
Ӣ And finally, the Journal Tribune for covering Day of Caring and recognizing the community spirit and the gift of volunteerism.
Although our project was too large for one day and work continues, we are grateful to have our horses safely enclosed and relieved to know traffic can pass our property without incident.
Thank you to all.
